The open-air market of Saint-Vivien remains a key meeting place for locals and tourists who enjoy warm atmospheres and local produces. It takes place throughout the year, every Wednesday, on the church square near the Town Hall.
The silty waters of the estuary are home to an abundant life, and many small fishing harbours succeed each other along the banks of the river. Located on the edge of a narrow channel that boats have to go back up on 3 kilometres to reach the estuary. The small harbour of Saint-Vivien remains a very pleasant place that a lively party celebrates each year in August.
"La petite Canau" Fish Farm
